The Etch Playroom
A space for the girls to play was a priority for the client, and the resultant rooms include cabinets reminiscent of dolls-houses, custom furniture, and a playful colour scheme. We used Valchromat, a through coloured MDF that allowed us to cut out window and door details whilst retaining a consistent colour finish on the edges, which enabled us to transform cabinets into dolls houses. This, combined with its robust properties made it a perfect choice for the girl’s playroom.

The Artist’s Child’s Bedroom
In the children’s bedroom, we used durable Perfect Touch in Denim Blue with playful Dowsing and Reynold leather pull handles. An Oak laminate desk wraps around awkwardly-shaped corners, creating useful desk space for homework and crafts under the sloping eaves of the roof.

The Courtyard Bedroom
The stylish, yet playful cabinetry in the children’s bedroom of the Courtyard house uses a robust and practical material palette, utilising dusky blue Perfect Touch doors and panelling which are accented by Navarra Ash exposed shelving. We incorporated Muuto Dots in a variety of sizes, that double as both handles and coat hooks.

The Lemon Tree Media Space
Custom built media storage maximises the use of the available space and ceiling height, creating much needed storage for a young family. The contrast of Oak, dark grey Valchromat and white sprayed doors compliments the other fitted joinery and finishes within the property.

The Pier Playroom and Media Space
The client’s wanted a space that they could conceal and store all of the games and toys, but at the same time display some of their more prized creations! Custom built storage makes easy work of this, all hidden behind sleek handleless doors, sprayed in semi-matt soft-grey finish. Low level media and games storage, combined with concealed cable management completes the clean, clutter-free, contemporary aesthetic.

The Garden Playroom
Custom built storage finished in a light spray work is accentuated by the bright colour Ikea Trofast storage boxes that offer a cost effective and playful storage solution. Adjacent to the kitchen and dining room, this space offers the perfect place for the children to play, whilst also ensuring that it is easy to keep tidy & clutter free.

The Playbox
The Playbox was presented at Clerkenwell Design Week, a public exhibition, as a unit based on a standard double cupboard. The concept manipulates and activates each elevation in every detail. The Playbox stores items that support the user’s experience, facilitating a place to entertain, socialise, learn and play. It was conceived as a mobile unit that would transform any space occupied.
