The Midsummer Kitchen
The Midsummer Kitchen was a fantastic project to work on. With a detailed brief from the client and design team from the start, it really shines through in the finished product. Beautiful materials, and clean, elegant lines define this space and create a sanctuary in the centre of the home.

Whilst compact and cleverly considered, the whole space feels incredibly generous and welcoming. There is plenty of functional worktop space and deep drawers are utilised to maximise storage. The critical glass screen is framed by tall larder and pantry cupboards, which creates a fantastic breakfast bar, perfect for a morning coffee, and connects the kitchen with the wider ground floor.
The natural finish on the Oak beautifully compliments the grey hues in the signature Emperador Grey Marble and Paint & Paper’s Paris Rooftops, it’s a very organic and honest material palette that allows the details to shine through.
The vertical framing & solid Oak handles characterise this kitchen, offering equal amounts of both beauty and functionality.
The warm glow emanating from the Oak larder cabinet truly reflects why a kitchen is known as the heart of the home. The custom spice racks ensure these are easily accessible and offer additional storage. It’s testament why a larder cabinet is integral to any contemporary kitchen.
