Morty and Bob’s

For Morty & Bob’s, Shape carried out the concept design for this new bar and restaurant located in the vibrant Coal Drops Yard near King’s Cross. Utilising the underground space, and accentuating the columnar aesthetic under the arches, we honed the materials and colour palettes to create a raw, industrial feel reflecting the location’s heritage. Along with this, we also set out locations for furnishings, thus conceptualising the interior scheme.

The use of brass and natural timber adds light and warmth to the space, whilst strategic placement of greenery prevent the industrial aesthetic from overwhelming the space.
